I had to call the staff at the phone number provided just to check in, but hey, at least it made me feel important and VIP-like. The continental breakfast was available daily, giving me the chance to start my day with some mediocre food. Santa Luzia Sanctuary was a whole 1.1 km away, so close! Oh, the excitement!
Who needs a comfortable bed anyway? The discomfort of the beds was a unique and unforgettable experience, just like the dogs and people roaming around late at night.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, making it a great base for exploring. the private double room offers good value for money, and the bedsheets were fresh and the heater was provided for a warm and comfortable stay.
The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with a weird smell and a lack of proper cleaning.

Had to ring multiple times to access the hostel, just to find out there's no one waiting at the door! The wifi wasn't working either, so I had to use my precious data. Definitely a smooth and convenient experience!
Such a shame that my room didn't come with curtains, it was so much fun either letting people stare in or blocking out the light completely. Fabulous!

During my Christmas stay at the hotel, I appreciated the easy and welcoming early check-in process. It was great to be able to settle into my room right away and start enjoying my holiday. the location of the hotel was ideal, being conveniently situated near key attractions and amenities. Another advantage was the breakfast, which was good and served on time. I particularly enjoyed the variety of options available and the delicious food that was offered.
There were a couple of aspects that could be improved. the room I was initially assigned had a damp smell and some mold on the walls.

Had to call staff late at night to check-in, felt like a secret agent. Daily continental breakfast was a lovely surprise.
The only downside was the lack of a martini bar in my room, how else can one relax after a long day of sightseeing?
